Boondock Saints
Jun. 19th, 2004 10:23 pmI've been meaning to get my parents to watch this for a while and my dad finally popped it in this evening. Unfortunately they didn't sit through the whole thing. Mom came upstairs and saw about five minutes of it. She left shortly after the ripping-the-toilet-out-of-the-floor part after grimacing and commenting on how that was too painful to even watch. Dad got through about half before saying he'll watch it tomorrow since he accidentally dozed off during some of it.
After it was over my mom and I had fun trying to turn it off and turn the satillete back on without messing up the speakers. I think my dad has this obsession with making watching TV as difficult as possible. We have two remotes and you have to press about five hundred buttons (all while aiming exactly at the reciever) just to turn the thing on. Then he gets mad at me when I can't figure it out. This is why I don't watch much TV anymore. :)
Mom and I ended up turning everything off. *shrug*
Also, Teenage Mutant Ninja Photoshop. The best one is on the bottom of page 3.

Date: 2004-06-20 05:39 pm (UTC)Good luck with the satellite TV and speakers. In my house, I'm the one who can make it work and my dad is the one who gets frustrated with it. I think our dad should compare notes... maybe yours could teach mine a thing or two!
