My brother just left to see Spider-man 2, but I can't go because I have to finish my laundry. Grumble, grumble, grumble!!

So, birthday was fun. Work was easy and we had a break for cake. My aunt, uncle and cousins arrived when I was opening my presents and Kate (the 2-year-old) insisted on helping me- she would rip the wrapping paper off, hand me the present and immediately start on the next one. :)

Some of the stuff I got would be: the Invader Zim DVD, Big Fish, The Last Samurai, Ender's Shadow (to solidify my newfound status as Orson Scott Card fangirl), the Megaman Anniversary Collection (so much nostalgia, so little time!), a shiny new Game Boy SP, a Betty Boop watch (hee!), rechargeable batteries for my mouse (which, of course, work in everything BUT my mouse ARGH), some pajamas and two nice big bathrobes.

And my dad, who hates Tim Burton, absolutely loved Big Fish. :)

Saturday we all hung out at the pool. My parent's friends came over and brought their three-month-old baby with them. She's so cute!! Then another aunt and uncle came over, which was a nice surprise since we hardly see each other despite the fact that they only live about a mile away. They gave me a pair of diamond earrings for my birthday! They're beautiful but I'm too scared to wear them because I have a bad habit of losing earrings. :(

It stormed all day on the 4th, so I mostly just sat around playing Megaman. The arcade games are freaking fun! We also got to babysit our neighbor's dog, a big (bigger than Puck!) goofy Lab mix named Scout. No one seemed to mind the house being covered in dog hair again. :)

Today the office was closed so I helped mom clean the house and watched my brother swear at the TV every time he died in Megaman 7.
