Granted, I lost interest in them after they pretty much stopped making adventure games, but still. The King's Quest games were some of the first video games I ever played and therefore partially responsible for the total geek I am today.
That and we'll never, ever, ever see a Gabriel Knight 4 for sure now, and that just makes me sad. :(
