I swear Arthur was giving me the sad puppy face earlier before I fed him. Then he was hiding behind the plastic tree when the demolition team was making as much noise as possible next door. Speaking of which, due to yesterday's events Arthur's moved from the fireplace mantle to my desk under the shelf.
Classes:
Drawing 1: Ellie informs me that Edmonson is really, really easy. Hooray!
Contemporary design: I'm getting graded to paste magazine pictures and draw cartoon characters in a sketchbook. Plus I can bring in my markers and use them for classwork. Hooray!
Horror Lit: This class is already more awesome than Drawing and Contemporary Design put together. Hooray!
American Lit 2: And here's where it startes going downhill... not like it'll be too hard, but I have to suffer through the Awakening again. :(
Writing Seminar: I clearly remember signing up for a class called just Advanced Writing Seminar, not "Active Citizenship" Adv. Writing Seminar. So, yes, I have shake hands and put my work in manilla folders to make it look more "professional". And BS everthing more than usual. I'm going to hate this class.
So torrential downpours turned Richmond into part of the Atlantic Ocean yesterday. Dad called to see if anything was going on here but that was after it stopped raining. :) Our backyard is flooded, the pool almost overflowed, and I-95 is apparently now a river. My brother called me later last night to tell me that VCU/downtown Richmond is completely without power and ask "what the hell do you do at college when there's no power!?!?" while his roommate was screaming at me from the stairs outside their room for some reason.
