WEEK LONG MEME day six
Sep. 13th, 2009 03:14 pmSharing is Caring Meme
For one week, recommend/share:
Day one: a song
Day two: a picture
Day three: a book/ebook/fanfic
Day four: a site
Day five: a youtube clip
Day six: a quote
Day seven: whatever tickles your fancy

Okay no seriously. When I reinstalled AIM a while ago (and I'll probably reinstall it again soon) I lost all my away messages which were usually my favorite quotes from stuff. I still have a few laying around, though their origins are a mystery even to me now:
QUICK, TO THE SHIRE.
"The book was long, and difficult to read, and Klaus became more and more tired as the night wore on. Occasionally his eyes would close. He found himself reading the same sentence over and over. He found himself reading the same sentence over and over. He found himself reading the same sentence over and over."
-I think this came from a Discworld book but I can't remember which one.
"The word politics is made up of two words: poli, meaning many, and tics, meaning blood-sucking parasites."
"Duct tape is like the force, it has a light side and a dark side and binds the Universe together."
Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark.
"Hi! I'm a talking door!"
And my current favorite from Tales of Monkey Island: "Bananas from heaven! Thanks, banana god!"
