Hrrgh Franklin I do not like the way you've spent the last two weeks lying at the bottom of the tank like a lump. I know he's still moving because he's in a different spot every few times I check on him but he is just... not doing anything. He doesn't look sick at all. His color is normal and he's not growing anything weird. I know he ate at least one pellet a couple of days ago and bettas can go a month without eating but I really don't like the thought of him not being able to eat. :<
I've had him for a year and a half and there's no telling how old he was when I got him, so it's likely he's just gotten old. I guess I'll just keep the tank as clean and warm as possible and maybe put some aquarium salt in there to keep him comfortable at least.
Oddly enough Mr. B, my other fish I keep downstairs, is still perky as ever and he's going to be at least three years old this summer. I'm pretty sure he's just a freak of nature, though.
