whine whine I hate my job whine

At my job, nobody is ever scheduled to close one night and open the next morning, because that's just not fair to them. Also, you always have at least one "weekend" day (Fri/Sat/Sun) off, because again, it's unfair to make one person work all weekend.

Last night I closed and this morning I opened. Next week I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day.

I don't get it. I've been stuck at this stupid place for a year. I didn't WANT to be stuck there for a year, but that's a whole other rant in and of itself. Why I do I feel like I'm being treated like an afterthought? I've been doing everything the managers can do since a month after I started, why am I still getting peanuts for it and getting all the crappy shifts? I hate this place so much aaagh.

All I want is a new job. Why can't I have that?

Pinch Me came on the radio when I was driving home and it's kinda weird how it pretty much sums up my life at the moment. Namely the "god get me out of here before I go crazy" part. also it's an Ed Robertson song so I didn't have to go "baww Steven Page why did you leave baww"
