Proper update time!
Jun. 9th, 2007 10:55 pmThe Renaissance faire was great fun, even though it was sweltering on Saturday and rainy and cold on Sunday. I got to hear a lot of raunchy songs, eat s'mores and play juggling sticks. :D
Grad classes are... going. I'm apprehensive to say they're easy, because I'm sure if I do they'll suddenly throw me a curveball and I'll be like "wtf no". Thing is, the stuff I'm learning isn't hard to learn, but the pace of the classes is extremely fast as if to make up for that . But there are a bunch of people in the program who aren't as tech savvy as I am (and I'm not very tech savvy, so that's saying a lot), and who aren't used to reading a dozen books a semester (hooray, my English degree is coming in handy!), and I have to wonder how they're coping since some of the material probably IS hard to for them to grasp.
Oh, and speaking of savvy...
