ah moving

So the upstairs bathroom is more or less unusable right now. My dad thought that he would spontaneously replace the sink, and what was supposed to be a small project has turned into... well, a huge mess in the bathroom. Apparently the plumbing for the sink is all screwed up and he hasn't been able to fix it yet. Meanwhile, everything that was in the cabinet under the sink is piled in the corner and partly in the shower, so we can't use the sink or the shower. Toilet's fine, but there's so much debris from dad ripping out the old sink that I just don't want to go in there at all.

Oh, yeah, the dining room and kitchen's a mess too. We're getting somebody to come in and paint the cabinets white so they're more appealing than "dark brown old wood". Mom has pulled almost everything out except for our dishes and boxed it up in the dining room, so we can hardly use that room, too.

Hahaha... can we please move now.

On a lighter note, mom and I went out to dinner at Red Lobster with my boss and a friend who used to work at the office last night, which was really nice.

Appparently, Contact is really short. I haven't beaten it yet, but I've made it my mission to make it last as long as possible, since I don't want to go back to desperately wanting Mother 3. :D
